Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 to 2019, she served as artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. Also, she was the producer, costume/set designer as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director of lighting and design in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut.
